Camps
Build camp pages, sell spots, and run camp schedules.
Building a Camp
Create the camp (admin)
Go to Dashboard > Camps and click New Camp. You land in the Camp Page Builder, which shows the page exactly as fencers will see it. Give the camp a name, set the dates, and pick a location: one of your club locations, or a custom venue with its own street address for this camp only. Camps needs your club's Stripe account first: until Stripe setup is complete (see Stripe Setup under Payments), the Camps page stays locked behind an Enable Stripe banner. Zelle payments are coming soon.
Add photos and pick a cover
Upload up to five photos. Click a photo to preview it and star it to make it the cover; the cover leads the public page, the camps directory, and social link previews. The public page always shows the whole image, so landscape shots work best.
Introduce your coaches
Pick coaches from your roster and write a short bio for each. Bios are saved to your club, so the next camp featuring the same coach starts with their bio already filled in.
Set the registration window and signup mode
The registration window controls when the signup buttons are live. Signups run in one of two modes: Instant signup, where fencers register and pay right away, or Approval required, where fencers request a spot with a note and you approve before they pay.
Publish
Publishing puts the camp live at fencr.app/camps and on your public club page, and mirrors its schedule onto your club calendar. Drafts are visible only to you. You can close registration or unpublish at any time from the camp's row on the Camps page.
The builder is drag-to-reorder: grab a section handle to change the order fencers read the page in.
Camp Schedule & Bookable Lessons
Lay out a camp day
The Daily Schedule is a mini week calendar. Click an empty time to add a block, click a block to edit it. Each block is a practice or a lesson window, with a start, an end, and an optional title.
Repeat it, or customize each day
Same every day runs one template across the whole camp. Customize each day gives every date its own blocks; switching modes carries your current layout over so you never start from scratch.
Lesson blocks become bookable slots
A lesson block tiles into individual bookable lesson slots at the lesson length you choose, with an optional break between slots. Those slots land on your club schedule exactly like hand-built bookable lessons, so fencers grab them the same way they book any lesson.
Edits sync both ways
Every block is mirrored onto your club schedule, and the two stay in step. Move or retitle a camp session from the Schedule page and the camp builder picks it up; edit the camp and the schedule follows. Coaches see camp days on their own calendars automatically.
Camp sessions can only be created from the camp builder. Cancelling one from the Schedule page removes that session from the camp too.
Rates & Signups
Create your rates
A rate is one way to attend: Full Camp, Day Pass, Camp + Lessons, anything you like. Each rate has a price, an optional signup cap, and what it includes: a number of lessons and practice days, using the same credit language as your club plans. Private rates never show publicly; you assign them directly.
Payments run through your Stripe
Paid signups check out through your connected Stripe account, the same one your plans and invoices use. FencR takes no cut. Free rates skip checkout entirely and confirm the moment a fencer signs up, so a camp with only free rates never asks anyone for a card.
Work the Signups tab
Dashboard > Camps > Signups is one table of every registration across your camps: who, their age and weapon, which camp and rate, and one clear status per row: Needs approval, Awaiting payment, Paid, Declined. Approval requests carry the fencer's note and Approve / Deny buttons right in the row.
Approve or decline requests
On approval-mode camps, approving a paid rate asks the fencer to finish payment; their spot is held until they do. Approving a free rate confirms immediately. Declining releases the spot. The fencer is notified either way.
Signups from people who are not club members appear only under Camps. Registering for a camp never creates a club membership, so your roster stays clean.
Signing Up for a Camp
Find a camp
Browse fencr.app/camps, type your address or ZIP to see camps near you, or open a club's public page to see theirs. Camp pages show the daily schedule, the coaches, and every public rate. You do not need to be a member of the club to sign up.
Pick who is attending
Click Sign up on a rate and choose yourself or one of your children. Each athlete holds one spot per camp, and your family's registrations show right on the camp page with their status.
Pay, or request a spot
Instant camps take you straight to secure checkout, and your spot is confirmed the moment payment lands. Approval camps let you send a short note with your request; the club reviews it, and you get a notification to finish payment once you are approved.
Track your registration
Your registrations appear on the camp page and under Dashboard > Camps if you belong to the club. A held spot that is awaiting payment shows a Finish payment button whenever you come back.
